For the ASB Classic Tennis Tournament in Auckland, Sky set out to capture a fresh, immersive perspective of the match action from a net cam, in partnership with sponsor, Spark New Zealand. To achieve this, the team selected two PROTON RAIN cameras supplied by Professional Audio & Television (PAT), positioning the PROTON RAIN cameras in the middle of the net to give viewers a unique view of the action—bringing the speed, trajectory, and intensity of play closer than ever.

Its rugged design and small footprint make it ideal for specialty placements—like net-cams—where space is limited and reliability is critical.
