Administration Assistant > Hornsby, Sydney

Professional Audio & Television, one of Australia’s leading broadcast suppliers and integrators, has a full-time vacancy for an experienced Administration Assistant based in Hornsby.

You will be a team player who is proactive and professional. Your strong organisational skills and professional manner will be a key attribute you bring to the team. Your day will be filled with varying tasks, assigned from all areas of the company.

Primary Responsibilities

General administration – strong organisational skills and a professional manner to ensure the smooth operation of general office activities such as:

  • reception, answering, screening and directing phone calls
  • Managing office supplies and equipment
  • Booking meeting rooms, refreshments & lunches
  • Scheduling and booking travel arrangements
  • Maintaining contact lists
  • Providing general administrative and operational support where required

Sales Operations – administer and manage the order cycle, processing in a timely and accurate manner, including:

  • Preparing Sales quotations
  • Maintaining accurate Pricelists
  • Liaising with customers and third-party suppliers by phone, email and face to face
  • Managing and tracking shipments and deliveries
  • Maintaining Stock inventory records
  • Maintaining database records utilising Smartsheet software

Support marketing activities such as:

  • Maintaining the company website
  • Co-ordinating advertising and design deadlines
  • Scheduling and coordinating training sessions, meetings and appointments
  • Collating presentations and distributing marketing material

Skills & Experience

  • 3 years minimum experience in a similar role
  • Advanced Microsoft Software skills – particularly MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Self-confident and determined
  • Ability to work in a small team, but also unsupervised and with common sense – initiative is imperative
  • Highly organised with a strong ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Current Drivers License

Desirable Experience

  • Previous PA role
  • Word Press Publishing experience
